Calexico playing Joe's Pub - Jan '06

Calexico play three special shows with Iron & Wine at Webster Hall in NYC next week. Then on January 24, 2006 they're playing two more NYC shows at the intimate Joe's Pub. Tickets are on sale.

Since I really want to see Calexico, and since Joe's Pub is my favorite venue and Webster Hall is my least-favorite venue, this will work out perfectly.

Tix were on sale on Telecharge.com, but then were pulled off on Monday. After I went to buy some tix for Calexico and I&W on Monday, I stopped by Joe's Pub box office to try to buy some in person. The woman there said that they were taken off Telecharge just before I got there at 2pm, and were not being sold at the box office cos something was happening with the promoter or something. She believed that it would be worked out and that tickets should go back up shortly (although it's already been a few days later). She told me to call Joe's Pub at 212-539-8778 to make a reservation now (and to save on Telecharge fees).

it's back up on telecharge.com. buy from the box office if you wanna save $3.30 in fees per ticket!

I think they thought it would affect Webster Hall show ticket sales.
