That political page on CYHSY's site must be Alec's stuff. He seems pretty political. His solo music, which I saw at the Northstar Bar in Philly in August is very anti-Bush.

besides playing CHYSY on the office, they also played the new pornographers in an episode.
it in the background, so faint, and so qiuet, and but i swore i could hear it, and i rewinded, and yes, my hypothesis was confirmed, they were playing the new pornographers at a scene when michael is at chili's. haha.
