great show. andrew kinney is a fantastic guitar player. a bit late getting started - band tension was apparent. kinney bantered something about how even if the audience thinks it's a good show, it's not a good show unless he doesn't have to talk band members back from the ledge. vibes player was acting a bit unhinged too, kneeling on the stage in a fetal manner and swaying for parts of songs like he was really, really, really into the music, man. didn't take meds? despite all that, the music was tight.

the band was great, although i'm becoming less and less tolerant of the morons who show up to merc lounge/bowery ballroom to have loud, non-stop conversations only to have their night ruined by some annoying band that won't shut up.
