Saturday night (November 5, 2005) I stopped by Southpaw to catch Jonah Matranga‘s latest incarnation, Gratitude (sort-of). There’s been a few line-up changes since Gratitude formed a little over a year ago. Now I’m hearing about lawsuits and the possibility that the band was dropped from their major label.
The latest line-up brings back members of New End Original, Jonah’s Jade Tree band. The just-over-an-hour headlining set was a mix of Gratitude and NEO songs. The crowd was small, but dedicated. Most everyone knew all the words and was singing along.
