"...in other local band news, i hear that favourite sons (featuring members of aspera) have signed with vice records, although i can't find any evidence of it anywhere. i saw them open for american analog set last week (post to come, um, soon?) and thought they were way better than the last time i saw them. upbeat, strokes-ish indie rock. good for them!"
