The National @ Warsaw, Brooklyn, NYC | pics
EVERYONE PLEASE SHUT THE FUK UP!!

It's been a National week around here with the now legendary soccer game followed by Clogs shows at Soundfix and at Tonic. What better time then to finally post the photos from the National's recent show at Warsaw in Brooklyn (September 7, 2005)? As you know, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah opened.

T-Shirt time, again: "Yes, I Stayed for the National."
Perhaps, had they handed those out after their encore, more people would have.

so i'm assuming the crowd at the warsaw show was as disgustingly rude as the crowd at bowery a few nights later? i was seriously ready to slug every idiot in there. i think at that point the venue should step in and make some kind of announcement.

what would such an announcement consist of?
"The Management is sorry that all you guys don't like this band that you paid to see, but please pretend like you do."

People who did not stay for he National did make a mistake (according to me) but all the late people who did not get there early enough to see and hear Qatsi did a very big one too ...
