Last fall lead singer John McCrea walked off stage leaving the band to play for nearly ten minutes because the crowd was singing along wrong. God forbid.
On top of that, when Cheap Trick opened a couple years ago, John was so pissed off at something fromt he moment they went on stage, it totally sucked. Then, they didn't even play an encore.
I'm sorry, but $34 is too much a gamble if he pulls that sh-t again.

WOW. My experience with seeing them live has been completely different. They were excellent each time and played nice long encores. But yeah, $34 is steep, especially after service charges.

In Prospect Park on the first Unlimited Sunshine tour, It POURED rain before and into the beginning of Cakes set, which worked out for them because it made them seem like heroes for overcoming various technical difficulties(here's looking at you Lady S) and playing a nice career-spanning set for the soaked crowd.
However, some friends of mine went to see them at the one at Hammerstein last time they came around, and they said it sucked and that McCrea seemed grumpy.
