Looks like it is sold out already. No surprises there.

so how soon until after this show do the bloggers stop talking about "the editors" and forget they even played a NYC show?
Posted by barf | December 21, 2005 12:31 PM
damn, im glad i acted fast on that one...
looks as though they are already sold out.
supposedly there is a 2nd show the following day @ the dark room, if anyone missed out on tickets for this one.

wow...that was fast.
i doubt they're that popular. i bet the more likely reason is that there are a lot of tickets arebeing reserved for the guestlist, and thus only a lmiited amount of tickets are available to the public.

that sucks! i stopped by Mercury Lounge 3 times to buy tickets at the box office after i saw the posting on this site and they told me that tickets weren't on sale yet and then they sell out online in 10 min today.

so, who wants my extra? :)
Posted by ryan | December 21, 2005 1:14 PM
I have a feeling this is going to be moved to Webster Hall.

I got a few extra myself. Please look for my Craig's list post looking for hot chicks with loose morals that need tickets in the near future.

it would never get moved to emmanuel lewis hall. if it gets moved it would be to the bowery. let's hope it doesn't.

Bowery is already booked for this night. This show is staying put at the Mercury Lounge.
Posted by jerry | December 21, 2005 2:09 PM
Bowery being booked that night is meaningless. They have moved shows to different venues and changed the day of the show as well.

how does one have extra tickets already? did you just buy more than you need to make a profit on CL? Not Cool....
Posted by starslight | December 21, 2005 2:52 PM
starslight:
I bought an extra so I don't go solo to the show. is that okay with you?
sincerely,
FB

The Editors have shows booked all around those days, and all around the Country/Globe, so I highly doubt they'll "change the day". As far as moving it to a different venue, when and where has that happened? I'm not doubting you... I'm just curious.

sorry, FB. i was referring to the other post about extra tickets and finding them on CL - guess i'm bitter.

I was jk about the craigs list post. I got 2, one for me and one for my lady friend. But i have no doubt that some people do that.
This is off topic, but does anyone know if tickets for White Rose Movement on the 12th will be on sale on ticketweb? Im looking forward to that more than the Editors.

I already saw Interpol play a few years ago. I don't need to see the Editors. Why does anybody care about this band? It's like they're trying not to be original.
