Eels? Maybe they'll play another show while they're here. The last show they played in NYC was at Town Hall which they recorded for a CD and DVD.

I was at the town Hall show. Sitting front row and it was great. I can't wait for the DVD!

I agree with danfun. That show was superb. I really hope they play another while they are hear.

I actually got to see this show a couple of weeks earlier at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, while on vacation. Awesome venue, I'm sure it was pretty much the same show as the one at Town Hall.
One of my favorite shows of last year. Can't wait to see him on another tour with more of a rock show.

from Matisyahu's site:
"Also, we're not quite sure how it happened, but Matisyahu is listed as a performer at the Feb. 1 Joni Mitchell tribute at Carnegie Hall in NYC. This is unfortunately NOT TRUE. "

This list has seriously been scaled down since it was first announced. No Joe Jackson, no Keren Ann, no Bebel Gilberto, no Tracy Chapman, no Ben Folds, no most of the people I bought my ticket to see. Ah well. At least it's for the kids.

Well, maybe it's possible that they decided to keep some of the bigger names as the "surprise guests." Here's hoping, at least!
