everyone who was there knows that the rocket from the crypt final nyc show was a fucking disaster that nearly didnt happen. the staff at the hard rock cafe in times square stopped letting people in for about a half hour before rocket was to go on and little steven couldnt do a thing about it.

we might like the same music but trudging up some old bands from the grave for some ridiculously expensive show bothers me...and he is very ugly.

Wait - what? I was at the RFTC show, and yeah, the thing took forever -- but I didn't see anything on the RFTC or Swami message boards about people with tix being turned away. It was, of course, a sold out show.

Little Steven's always kept his ticket prices down. Randall's Island was cheap; the RFTC show was $15. But this one - well, looks like you'll be able to tune in to ESPN to see how empty it'll be. And to see the "Tuscan Grilled Vegetable Display."

Hey, it's New Years! Everything's price-inflated!

they ended up letting people in. i got there with my girlfriend around 12...and we expected rftc to go on right away. they kept us on line for 30 minutes saying they were overcapacity and they cant let us in. eventually, a guard let us in...and the place was far from packed...it was sold out but you could move comfortably.

What did you people expect from the Hard Rock Cafe? It's a chain restaurant, not a real venue.

I saw RFTC a few years ago, and I was thoroughly unimpressed. The Dolls may be older, but they can still kick ass, as I saw the the festival. So yes, I'll take bands trudged up from the grave anytime.

Besides, not all the bands are old...the Charms are a relatively young band.

And besides, why does Little Steven's looks bother you so much? Are you just too shallow to appreciate the man's good works?

Little Steven is an alright guy...but this show stinks. Hard Rock cafe stinks, Times Square stinks, The Chesterfield Kings stink and The Moony Suzuki is boring. I'll save my $300 this New Years for booze, drugs and whores, thanks very much.
