Lou Reed playing NY Shows & The 2006 Winter Olympics
Lou Reed, Rob Wasserman, Tony Thunder Smith, Fernando Saunders, and Mike Rathke are set to perform two NY shows in February: Feb 11 Poughkeepsie, NY Bardavon Opera House & Feb 13 Crobar, NYC. Then they'll perform at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin on February 23rd, followed by a month long European tour. All dates below...

Wow - from Poughkeepsie to Prague.
I was last at the Bardavon Opera House in Poughkeepsie on Halloween 1978 -- to see Talking Heads.

i would be more excited but i'm sure i can't go due to exorbitant ticket prices... damn it'd have been cool to see mos def & talib last monday.

the ticket price itself is fairly reasonable to see a legend ($45); but the venue is requiring everyone to buy throught ticketbastard, and I refuse to pay 30% extra for all their charges; I started the order and it wound up being $57.70 after all the bs. Screw that.
