Love is All | Nine Times That Same Song | Get the CD

Nick Sylvester and Pitchfork today declared Love is All's Nine Times That Same Song "Best New Music" with an 8.7 rating. "What's the stat, 99% of all songs are love songs? And what's the other, 99% of all love songs make me want to slit my face? Swedish indie pop group Love Is All admit as much in their bandname and album title."

ORDER IT AT INSOUND

Check out pictures of them performing at Don Hill's. I have an MP3 link with the pics and links to more music here.

I gotta say, Pitchfork got it right with this one. I saw 'em when they hit Philly, and they far surpassed my modest expectation. I can't wait to see them again.

Also, we've got their song "Talk Talk Talk Talk" posted over at the 'Stamps for people who haven't heard it yet...

I put up two others, including the Make Out track, for those who are curious. I'm beginning to really like it also. It'll be nice to hear some more when the album hits shelves.

Pitchfork hit a line drive with this one! This band is awesome.

Apparently this band used to be known as Girlfriendo and has been around for years. I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned in the Pitchfork review.
