It's funny. People wonder why real informative material is so hard to come by on the internet. It basically comes down to the ease of use of the technology that allows tasteless assholes with nothing to offer and too much time on their hands to fill servers across the world with their self-backslapping/congratulatory mental dialog. I'm aware that this whole thing is an exercise in irony, so I'll take my leave here with a vow to keep my trap shut in these situations in the future, and leave two parting ideas...

1. There is another irony apparent in this whole debacle. While it is certainly true that Emily Haines has been slighted in this particular way because she is a woman, Mick Jagger himself has been known to occasionally engage in a bit of dick suckery himself. Culturally speaking, isn't homosexuality more reprehensible than being a woman? In any event, what was positive about saying something like that?

2. If one must mentally vomit from time to time, isn't Myspace a better medium in general. You'll "reach" more people, and you won't be cluttering up the corners of the internet where people go to look for real information. Myspace... Your cyberspace toilet. You can even go their to drink toilet water if you ever get tired of the sound of your own voice (in a writing sense).
