The whole Two Weeks in June thing is really just a testimony to Pfork-Power. Even if other bloggers might have gotten there first, NPR didn't have to look much further than the sites they were already citing: A quick search shows Stereogum posting a CYHSY mp3 in February. They just focused on blog entries from around the time of the Pitchfork review.

And the Leafblower poll aside, it feels like The National were shoehorned into that L.A. Weekly article. The writer -- who released the National's first three albums -- conveniently overlooked the mass exit between the acts...
