Living With Legends has another review from Patti Smith's "Horses" show at BAM last night. She does it again tonight (Dec 1).
Pitchfork gave the 30th Anniversary Legacy Edition of "Horses" a 9.4. More on it at the Village Voice.
Patti is playing two New Years shows at Bowery Ballroom this year (Dec 30 & 31st). Tickets go on sale Friday Dec. 2 @ 12 PM.

There is also this thing at Anthology Film Archives on Dec 10 at 8pm called "ALTOIDS IN THE TIN: CELEBRATING ANTHOLOGY'S 35TH ANNIVERSARY!" Patti Smith selects and hosts.
Films: Au Hasard Balthazar (Robert Bresson)&
Rabbit's Moon (Kenneth Anger). Tickets complimentary of Altoids on a first-come first-serve basis. Tickets available at Anthology Box Office starting at 4:30 p.m. (Dec. 9-11). There is also two other ones, one with Peter Bogdanovich and one with Christine Vachon of Killer Films.

She came out during U2's set at MSG and they played 'Instant Karma.' It was amazing! During her set she started to talk about the war and a good amount of the crowd began booing her. She sounded great though and of course Tom Verlaine on guitar always helps.

went to BAM last night and am sitting here blasting horses out of the speakers and wishing i was back at the second show tonight. She - is not only benediction but - electricity. One of the best concerts I've ever been to, ever will.
