Stampfel, lead visionary of the Holy Modal Rounders and a former Fug is funny, brazen and bravura. His partner, Kruth, is the Bowery Poetry Club’s music director, author of books on Townes van Zandt and Rahsan Roland Kirk, and the world’s greatest mandolin player."
