Andrew Whiteman (& Emily Haines) - BSS @ Webster Hall | pics
"And Andrew Whiteman is the most under-appreciated member of the band. He's so crucial to their sound. I loved his solo last night in Almost Crimes. Andrew, please bring Apostle of Hustle back to town soon! " [Brad in the comments]

"Am I so behind on the times? Are Emily and Andrew together? When she was behind him with her hands on him during Lovers spit and he'd roll his head onto her shoulder... it was adorable but it made me wonder. Am I totally out of the loop?" [anonymous in the comments]

Incredible photos. Well done BV.
Emily was also all over Andrew at the Bowery show last December, so....

on friday she also put her hand on kevin in a suggestive manner during a particularly emotional part of "anthems":

Emily has had her hands all over various members of the band during past shows.
But at any rate, though I think Andrew is a great musician, my friends and I thought his rock'n roll posing was incredibly lame and distracting- to the point that we started keeping track of the antics.
The poses included: The knee thrust (#1 offender), the front karate kick, the swinging guitar swoop, the townsend windmill, the short "mod" windmill, and of course, the ROCK COCK (legs apart holding guitar perpendicular to body).
Buddy, please.

Yeah, and I'm sure it would be far more entertaining if he just stood there. ala Paul Banks
