Editors back at Annex | Reports from Cali
The Saturday night Editors show is back at the Annex. If you bought tickets when the show move to Hiro Ballroom earlier today, you're in luck - THEY WILL still be honored at the Annex (they had enough kept aside for the Annex show anyway). Plus One & Tiswas tried to meet demand by moving the show to a larger venue, but the venue was not actually available, though they were told it was for a minute. If you had plans to spend the evening in the LES, now you still can.

They let in 2 hours before the group was set to take the stage and usually when a band plays there people mingle around and go from room to room till the band comes on. The performance room was way over packed for 2 hours as everyone was crowding around the front of the stage. It was really hot and the time went by at a crawl but once the band took the stage, everything was all worth it. Editors did another amazing set that had the crowd going wild for them. this thing has clusterfuck written all over it. I can't imagine that the annex is actually the same size as Hiro. It's going to be ridiculously over-crowded.

I'm very much looking forward to getting there 2 hours early only to see a line that will probably already be stretched around the block. Who the fuck moves a show without confirming the venue?

I'm really starting to regret doing will-call and not coughing up the extra bucks for hard tix to be mailed to me. I can imagine having to get there like 4 hours early. Sweet.
And all this for how long of a show? Their album "The Back Room" is less than 45 minutes long...

I just received a message from "Ashley P" at +1 Management informing folks that additional tickets are available for the Annex show. I checked for seconds after receiving the message and there were none left.
Did anyone else receive this message? If so, at what time? I'm wondering if some people are receiving these messages late or if they're just slow over there.
