Rolling Stone reports that Elton John and Scissor Sisters are "collaborating" on a track for the next SS album. Arjan leads us to ThoughtNot's pictures of a recent SS recording session. Elton doesn't show up in the pictures, but Joan Wasser (aka Joan as Policewoman aka plays with Rufus Wainwright aka plays with Antony & The Johnsons) is there posing next to BabyDaddy.

The Dambuilders -- Joan's Wasser's band in the 90's -- is definitely worth checking out. They got lost in the post-Nirvana major label frenzy, but they had some incredible songs and were a monster live band.

The post-Buckley group Black Beetle were great as well. At least live. Short lived though. Whatever happened to Michael Tighe?
