The Lee Scratch Perry show at BB Kings just got a lot more interesting...

PRESS RELEASE SAYS: "Fresh from winning a Grammy for Best Reggae Album, legendary producer, performer and straight up ground-breaker, Lee Scratch Perry has recently inked a deal with Narnack Records for the release of his new full-length, Panic in Babylon. Slated to hit store shelves April 4th, the record will feature collaborations with TV on the Radio, Sinead O’Connor, Moby, George Clinton and many more. Wetting the pallet for his North American Summer tour, Lee Scratch Perry hits the U.S. this February for a six-show stint. Cities scheduled are: Bladensburg, New York, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New Haven and Long Beach. "

this is going to be a great show. let's hope that Lee shows. He was suppose to be here for CMj in September but canceled.

"Wetting the pallet"? Given that one definition of a "pallet" is "a mattress filled with straw or a pad made of quilts; used as a bed," this sounds scary. Almost as scary as this spelling error. Try "whetting the palate."

Little annoyed that the bill is full of white hipster bands. They aren't the only ones who go to shows. Geez!

so langhorne and friends are out, but dub is a weapon and tv on the radio are performing with lee scratch perry that night.

tvotr were supposed to make an appearance, but the entire show was just postponed until the end of may since lee perry was denied a visa.
