Reports from the Tamar/Prince show in San Fran
Tamar & Prince played a show in San Francisco last night. People are posting reviews in the message board at Prince.org...
Stax said, "It was a good show. Seeing Prince in the sideman role was strange and cool at the same time. Great guitar work, of course. Tamar can sing. The twins can't, but they look good. My highlight, Prince playing Don't Stop Till You Get Enough"
JudasLChrist said, "Alright the show was about 1.5 hours. Sold out House of about 2000-ish... Tamar can sing, but she doesn't have enough personality in her voice to sing the kind of material she was singing. Which is old soul and R+B music. Not very spectacular overall. Had a hard time figuring out 'why' Prince put this all together. Prrince was AWSOME on his RYTHM guitar stuff. Special mention should be madde, however, of the absolutely FANTASTIC chick drummer. She was TEARING IT UP!! I LOVED her..."

Also did her NEW single at the end with the BLESS in the title which I originally thought was a PRINCE sung tune. Overall it was a cool show but was surprised Prince did not preview his new stuff."

How will we know the ticketmaster link to the show? Will it just appear on their site a 3PM? Just answer based on your previous experiences...

So the link is now up on Ticketmaster with "on sale at 3PM." From the reviews on the SF show, it sounds like a pretty cheesy affair but Prince will be there. So the question is: is it worth sitting through a lame show in order to be in the room with Prince? A question we must all answer for ourselves...
