The first time I saw Wooden Wand was with the Vanishing Voice @ Mercury Lounge. This time James was playing with 'friends'. They went on after Mi and L'au, and before Akron Family, at the late night show @ Knitting Factory Saturday (January 14, 2006). Both times I saw him were great. They played Brooklyn the night before this show. Danfun says that was great too.
