Your Favorite Musical Moments of 2005 | Part 3
For some recent contests, I asked you to tell me some of your favorite musical moments from 2005. Here's one of the answers I received....
'Favorite Musical Moment was definitely Art Brut at Tribeca Grand. My friends and I managed to get up front before the set started. At one point during the set, frontman Eddie Argos asked the crowd if they had any questions for him. After two people screamed out their questions, I raised my voice to ask, "Are you any good at snooker?" He laughed, "I'm completely awful at snooker!" and proceeded to break into song. During one song, he jumped into the crowd without missing a beat. I was nearby so I turned to rock out with him. In a spontaneous burst of energy, we grabbed each other's forearms and leapt towards the ceiling.
Flash-forward to Monday morning and I am meeting with my practice group regarding a major project on nationwide vehicle and watercraft registration statistics. Somewhere near Nebraska, my boss' boss walks into our cubicle area and speaks to everyone and no one (the way bosses can do) but really addressing me: "So, Shaun, were you at Tribeca Grand on Saturday night? Seeing a band called Brut something?" My mind was racing... was he there? His son is at college and couldn't have been there. Did he see me shifting my scotch in my hand? How does he know?'

i work for a music company, so my story isn't quite as funny, but the same thing happened to me! could never find the photo article though, and it looks like me and shaun are best pals in queue to bow down to argos' greatness.
