I went to this last night. Wasn't very familiar with their work; just what I have heard on XM and KEXP.

Those guys are amazing. Out-Steely Dan'd Steely Dan. Amazingly talented, highly trained jazz/rock guitarists. Did anyone else here attend this show? Would love to hear thoughts. Thanks BV for letting me know about this one, I sure am glad I got to see Sam & Archer do their magic.

Yeah, great show. Second time I saw them, but first time I've seen them with no bassist and drummer.

Sam was hilarious at points... while they were tuning (again) between songs, the crowd standing there in silence waiting, sam says to archer "man, we're the driest act in rock." at which we all busted up of course.
