Alejandro Escovedo | MP3s, Tour Dates & John Cale
"Alejandro Escovedo is looking pretty good these days. The Austin-based rootsy singer-songwriter is about to release his first studio album in four years, The Boxing Mirror (due out May 2), produced by one of his idols, Velvet Underground alum John Cale. He recently married his girlfriend of several years, and happily indulges the whims of their three-year-old daughter, his seventh child. One would never guess that he just turned 55 -- much less barely survived a bout with Hepatitis C." [Rolling Stone]
Download an MP3 @ An Aquarium Drunkard. Alejandro is playing two shows at Joe's Pub in NYC on March 31st (early & late) and then Maxwell's in Hoboken the next day. SXSW (in his hometown) too. All dates below...

Have you seen this before? It's a number guessing game: http://www.amblesideprimary.com/ambleweb/mentalmaths/guessthenumber.html. I guessed 87112, and it got it right! Pretty neat.
