I wonder if this will work to bring the troops home? I bet you it does. U.S. presidents have long been known to heed the call of famous rock musicians.

Until the people of this country wake up and see the inequities between their fellow humans and the riches and evil of our goverments past and present, events like this will be useless and laughable. Peaches...Bright Eyes...Fischerspooner...Banhart...that crew will help b"ring 'em home"...

Hmmm. can i put aside the ignorance of these people to enjoy a potentially great night of music....tough call

yeah - people who dont like it when we invade other countries and drive them into and anarchic civil war are so damn ignorant.

I'd totally pay $150 to see a Cindy Sheehan-Peaches duet.

anybody got the 411 on the promotional code?

I love Cindy Sheehan. Thank you for the help you have given to my government.

I'm sort of confused about this. Obviously there is huge potential for an unforgettable night, but i just hope that there's going to more much more music than fucking politics. In the latter case, it'd be disappointing, to say the least, to spend that much money to hear anti-war this and that when we could just watch the BBC. I'll bet my scrotum that oberst plays "when the president talks to god."

To those who're going, please request "everybody hurts" when Stipes on. I'll try but i have a very soft voice.

I think it's going to be a great show... today I posted a collection of mp3s/videos/lyrics of anti-war songs from the artists playing in the concert. The true mistake would be letting the 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY pass without saying anything, even if the sloganed 'goal' of the concert is a bit lofty.

this reminds me of high school when bush won second term. all the seniors went out on the field with the faculty and screamed. And,needless to say, george bush immediatley withdrew the troops... i think you know the rest
