Continental to close on August 26th?
I previously reported the Continental was stopping live shows. The rumor now says they'll close completely on August 26th - two months before CBGB even.

what are they making way for? KFC? wendy's? another starbucks? sadly, it wouldn't surprise me, considering they already have two starbucks RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET.
