"Those of you who keep abreast of online rumor-mongering might be surprised to find that the rating at the top of this page is a few points shy of a 10.0. No sooner had Destroyer's Rubies leaked to internet file-trading services than rumors (credited, as these things always are, to 'reliable sources') began to spread that the album was to receive a perfect score from this publication." who does pitchfork think they are? am i the only one who finds that comment that there were rumors that "the album was to receive a perfect score from this publication" a bit arrogant. I personally love the album. Pitchfork seems to think they are some divine authority that has the final say on the greatness of an album. I enjoy the site but they are getting out of control, like we all wait up util the crack of dawn to see what rating pitchfork has in store, and we rumor incessantly about what pitchfork "may do". How pompous can one be?

Please stop covering Pitchfork.
This site is slowly becoming as unreadable as Pitchfork is.
