"On Sunday, Feb. 26th, the 74rd Anniversary of Johnny Cash's birth, some of Brooklyn's best country musicians will pay tribute to the Man In Black at Southpaw in Park Slope, Brooklyn. For this evening-long performance, The Whisky Rebellion, Blue State Band, and The Lonesome Prairie Dogs will perform their own versions of some of Cash's most memorable songs. Alex Battles will then join the the Lonesome Prairie Dogs, at the end of the night for a rousing finale in celebration of the music of J.R. Cash, born Feb. 26, 1932, 1,375 miles away in Kingsland, Arkansas."
