Jonah Matranga & Ian Love | Tour & new music
You know Jonah Matranga from Far, Onelinedrawing, New End Original, and Gratitude. You know Ian Love from Rival Schools and Cardia. Jonah just came out with a new live CD/DVD. Ian just came out with a solo album. If you've been to enough Jonah-related shows, you know that Jonah and Ian often play/tour/record together. Together they'll play on March 3rd, 4th & 5th @ Mercury Lounge, Maxwell's, & Southpaw. All tour dates below...

I just saw Jonah in LA and it was amazing. He said that he feels like he is playing honest and pure music again. The DVD has some great live performances as well.

Yeah, Jonah is awesome. You have to see him live to really understand how amazing he is.

Hmmm...strange. This is the same night as the inklings cd release show at the mercury lounge. I don't really think of the inklings in the same emo pop vein as gratitude but it looks like jonah is playing in the slot right before them.

Hey bv, these dates are incorrect.
They are playing Maxwell's on the 5th, not the 4th.
And according to Jonah's website, they are playing somewhere in Brooklyn on the 4th, and not necessarily Southpaw. Southpaw's website shows nothing for then on the 4th. You sure they are playing southpaw?

I'm gonna see Jonah at Maxwell's on the 5th and I'm really excited. When I moved to NY I honestly thought to myself, "I can finally see Jonah Matranga live!"
I would've just seen him here in NY but Mercury Lounge is 21+, boo.
