Lou Reed did the Torino Winter Olympics

"The singer stepped up onto the stage in Medals Plaza with a first-rate band (among them there was virtuoso bassist Rob Wasserman, Tony Thunder Smith, Fernando Saunders, Mike Rathke) and set off the “symphonic-electronic” concert: after opening with “Paranoia”, other pieces were “Street hassle”, “Sword”, “Kennedy”, a very interesting version of “Red Joystick” and “Power and glory”. His Tai Chi master arrived on stage to the notes of “Who Am I”, showing some moves from his discipline, and finally he closed his concert with “Mystic Child”. Eleven songs in all in addition to an encore of “Sweet Jane”, which sent the audience totally wild." [Torino 2006]

For as cheesy as it could be, I actually thought the exact opposite as you, boss.
The Olympics are the Olympics in my opinion...
