The Central Village, MOKB, 3Hive, Done Waiting, Three Imaginary Girls and Chromewaves approved band, Metal Hearts, played Gothamist's Movable Hype party at Knitting Factory Wednesday night (February 8, 2006). Saw this show. I like this band better live than the mp3.

I agree with chris. I couldn't get through the album, but live they came.. uhh... alive.

Very good live show. I really liked them. They're talented songwriters and musicians, much more than I expected after hearing a few MP3s. The crowd, yeah, was a bit chatty.

Should we open up the "next big band" forum here. Metal Heart will blow up on their next record then sign to Columbia. Art Brut will go to Matador. Tape N Tapes on Startime. Dr Dog to Barsuk. Sub Pop are teetering on a massive dry spell. Band of horses? Kelly Stoltz? Rogue Wave?
