Roger Waters to Perform Dark Side of the Moon (in France)

I've seen Pink Floyd's Roger Waters live, so I know that when he performs "the classic 1973 album 'Dark Side of the Moon' in its entirety this summer in France", it's going to be special. [Billboard]

its really great to see how big a fan you are of pink floyd, any updates about them and you post it...especially on a site that specializes in the current indie scene. its encouraging to know that pink floyd still gets the attention they deserve. thanks for the info, BV.

actually the interesting thing is that
Nick Mason will join him on stage at the event.

Get the band back together and do a tour already. Their performance at Live Aid was the highlight of the entire event. A stadium tour this summer would do the mid-west some good.

I suspect Gilmour may not be too thrilled with the timing of Waters' DSOTM announcement. What with Gilmour about to release a new disc and tour for the first time in umpteen years. This might not bode well for PF reunions.

If Roger Waters came to the US and performed DSOTM it would be one of the greatest tours ever. I saw him in '99 and it was amazing.

Can anyone provide info on the DSOTM gig in France. Where, When, Availability of Tickes etc. I live in Tampa Florida and would love to fly over. I am really disappointed that Gilmour is only doing a few shows, and in very small venues. I agree with the person who said earlier that some stadium concerts would be really cool. I saw Gilmour and The Division Bell tour at Oakland Colliseum, and it was the most amazing thing ever.
