Rollins vs Maxim | Sex Pistols vs Hall of Fame
Henry Rollins tells Maxim it's swell they don't like him. Sex Pistols are about to be inducted in the Rock & Roll hall of fame, which they call a piss stain. "We're not coming".

Good for the Pistols. Now that so much time has passed, the music industry has decided to welcome the Pistols into their little club - as long as the Pistols behave themselves. Then the fat cats in the R&R HoF can pretend to show how hip and cool they are - as if they liked the Pistols all along. The reality in the late 70's was that the music industry could hardly comprehend punk rock: "you call that music?/they can't even play their instruments/I don't understand the words/why are they so angry?/ why do they dress so funny?". Only a handful of the less threatening New Wave acts were able to get the support of the music biz. So I say f*ck the R&R HoF (I don't think real music fans care about this institution anyway - it's just for the industry people) and God bless the Pistols in all their middle-aged glory.
