"I'm a singer/songwriter/guitarist who performs in the NYC underground haven for unsigned artists. Basically, I'm a subway musician and I play music for the masses. I sell my own cds and am trying to get myself out there and be heard."

Sho

The other night I caught a one-stop length performance by Sho on the F train. Intrigued by his use of MySpace, I asked if I could snap a picture.

Did this make anyone else uncomfortable?

Nice sticker, dude. Well, we've certainly come a long way in the 65 or so years since Woody Guthrie first marked up his guitar with the statement "this machine kills fascists". this guy should rework that slogan to "this machine promotes fascists", considering newscorp (parent company of FOX) owns myspace.

i wonder how many downtown/brooklyn kids (hipsters or yupsters or indie-yuppies or whatever, if you want to tag them as such) have myspace profiles, yet profess to be politically active/aware and consider themselves liberal/progressive. you can't have it both ways, kids. feel free to pick up the new york post with pride, you bunch of "indie-nazis"!
