Todd Burns' Top 20, Kelley Polar, and a show at KF

Unlike lists made by Pitchfork's Ryan Schreiber, those compiled by Stylus' Editor-In-Chief Todd Burns are heavy on the obscure (which might just be a testament to the amount of influence Pitchfork has, but on the other hand, Todd's list is not exactly representative of the publication he runs).

Kelley Polar

KELLEY POLAR
Kelley Polar

Number one on Todd's list, Kelley Polar is "a New Hampshire based producer who lives in a farmhouse basement studio, and is the caretaker of a herd of Scottish Longhair cattle". Michael F. Gill of Stylus interviewed HIM. PAPER says "Kelley Polar is a classical-music prodigy with a taste for techno, a duality that got him booted out of Juilliard." Above photo snagged from All Music.

Pitchfork gave Love Songs of the Hanging Gardens a 7.8.
