wow security was f**king stupid at this last night. and anyone within 20 feet of the stage is deaf right now. Avalon is now on my banned venue list.

Yeah, some high school kid in front of me was prevented from going in because the security guy was being a dick for no reason. Absolutely bizarre and random, I felt sorry for the kid. And yes, the kick from the drums and bass were WAY too loud. It's too bad that the people running the Avalon have no clue how to throw a show, the space itself is really great.
