Jesse Malin playing small shows in May

Jesse Malin is playing Mercury Lounge in NYC on May 20th & 21st, 2006. If he's your thing, this venue is much smaller than Irving Plaza and Warsaw where he usually plays. Then again, he usually plays Mercury Lounge too.

He only drew 200 people or so at Warsaw. I didn't go, but that's what a friend of mine said who did. Thus, these shows will be much more full at the very least and more representative of the size of his following, I think.

Can you get any more contrived than what Jesse Malin has become?

The 1st record was amazing (from the heart), second sucked, and third even worse.

Malin, please stop making records based on what you think will sell. Also whats up with that weak ass cover of Bastards of Young? Come on, do that song some justice if your going to cover it.
