Mystery Jets @ Mercury Lounge, NYC | pics
Mystery Jets seem good. I just don't enjoy their music that much. I wanted to like them when I heard them making all this well orchestrated noise on stage, but the songs ultimately just left me bored. J properly described them as a 'prog' band which isn't a label you'd normally associate with a band so heavily endorsed by NME.
Noisettes and Land of Talk played before them (March 24, 2006). After the show I booked over to Love is All at Knitting Factory. Land of Talk and Love is All were my favorites of the night (Land of Talk Talk Talk...).
