Sub Pop signs CSS ("Cansei De Ser Sexy") | MP3s
"i'm not exactly sure how to describe them, but i'll try anyway. think dancy-punky-shouty-electroish tracks that get you you to pogo as much as hump the person's leg next to you. . . in cute accented english from a cute (but edgy) little girl. i think they are blowing up in brazil, my friend was telling me about a show they played on mtv down there, and they've also been playing some of those big outdoor festivals with other big international acts. so who knows, you might be hearing them pop up in the US in the next few years." [Suckapants - 11/19/2004 (with 2 MP3s)]
SUB POP ANNOUNCED THEIR SIGNING ON 3/30/06
"Described by Sub Pop as 'a thick, pulsating thing full of haphazard synths, call-and-response baile party spooz rhythm, and hot, unbridled FUN TIMES sans postured snottiness,' the band seems to be a handful of Brazilian good times and unpredictable directions." [Spacelab]
Suckapants also has three more MP3s in another post. CSS are a Music for Robots favorite too.
The band's official site is kind of confusing. You're better off sticking to their Myspace for more info.

CSS came good quicker than most thought! I swear they have spent most of the last 6 months here in the UK - they are everywhere these days, and good on them. If the sun doesn't actually shine on Glastonbury 2007 - and it looks it probably won't very much (as usual) - the should bring some Brazilian sunshine and attitude.
