Erik played some of the bass tracks on the Tapes 'n Tapes album that he also produced. I don't know the details, but Erik has officially replaced Shawn as the bassist for this relatively new band. Yesterday I posted a few of their tour dates. Here's all of them....

i have seen erik play bass for a few bands, he is amazing! i'm really excited to see him play with tapes 'n tapes. should be a great addition to the band.

isn't it obvious? They've been going by pseudonyms.
Tapes 'n Tapes = Josh (Tapes 1) + Matt ('n) + Jeremy (Tapes 2) + Shawn ('n)?
It didn't work in the equation. of course, I'm not sure how Erik helps this theory.
maybe tapes 'n tapes should just change their name entirely. i hear On! Air! Library! is available. Somone can be On, Air, Library, and the other !!!.
they could even get chk chk chk to be !!!.
