Alexandra Scott is a singer-songwriter who relocated to NYC from New Orleans after losing almost everything to hurricane Katrina. She played right before Norah Jones @ Rockwood Music Hall Sunday night (May 21, 2006). And as if her luck wasn’t bad enough already, she announced she wouldn’t be playing many shows for a while due to an upcoming knee surgery. She is playing a free Cross Pollination show at Pianos on June 11th though.
