The Flaming Lips obviously put on an incredible production and Sufjan had some gimickry of his own, but Beck's Puppet-tron was my favorite part of the whole festival. Beck was severely upstaged by his wooden counterpart. The amount of detail that went into recreating the performance on a miniature stage and broadcasting it on a giant screen was unbelievable. It took me a minute to realize that Loser was completely canned and that there weren't actually any musicians on stage.
