Cate Blanchett playing Bob Dylan in new movie
"The times they are a-changin'. Cate Blanchett, we read from Cannes, is one of a number of actors scheduled to play Bob Dylan in Todd Haynes's forthcoming biopic, writes Michael Billington. If one raises one's eyebrows, it is not at the idea of a woman playing a man. There's a long cinematic tradition of gender-swapping, dating from Garbo happily donning male attire in Queen Christina and Katharine Hepburn masquerading as a boy in Sylvia Scarlett to Hilary Swank in Boys Don't Cry. The only surprise stems from the fact that Blanchett, a statuesque Australian, seems to have little in common physically with the scrawny songster from Duluth." [Guardian]

Oooooo...Drat! I think the politically correct milieu of the Hollywood left ought to go whole hog and just break the race-gender paradigm by having a BLACK woman play Dylan in whiteface -- either that or have a young guy play the Dylan role after Dylan has a sex change operation. I'll bet the Zimmer, who'll do anything for a buck, is just ecstatic about all this!

Dunno much about this woman playing the part of king dyl, doesnt sound to convincing yo me but what the hell. am on here to try and find out about this film, were can i find reviews or something like that?
