Joanna Newsom & Neko Case & Martha Wainwright playing McCarren Park Pool
I was just talking about how much I miss Joanna Newsom on my radio show. Jerry was just talking about how he and 20,000 others missed most of Neko Case at Sasquatch!. Martha Wainwright is opening for Belle & Sebastian on Fourth of July. She's also opening for Joanna Newsom and Neko Case at McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn on August 24th. Tickets go on sale Saturday at noon.

those aren't cheap, esp. after tickmaster fees.
Does anybody know what's the deal with tickets for B&S july 4th? how does one get them?

Keep checking the B&S and River to River websites for July 4th tix. They say they'll have ticket info soon(I'm getting impatient, too)
Also, Martha Wainwright is opening up for Gomez at Webster Hall. That's a strong bill.

no service charge at the irving plaza box office. all seats at anytime can be bought for face value.

Yet another good show with a 30 dollar price tag added to Mccarren. I'm curious if people think this is, or will be, a good place to see a show. I don't mind $35, but I look at the pictures of what looks like an abandoned lot in Williamsburg and I have my doubts.

Willie Nelson + Ryan Adams + Neko Case at the Hollywood Bowl, Sunday, Sept. 10. I'm tempted to fly out there to catch this show and her show the night before in Pioneertown, CA. Can anyone tell me anything about the Hollywood Bowl?
