Mike C. is one of the few rock & roll DJ's in NYC that is actually worth showing up to a party for.

I'll be kickin' it old school, 'cuz I'm an old fool, at the Cutting Room with Steaks & Chops, a classic rock cover band (www.steaksandchopsmusic.com).

what do you mean by tix shouldn't be too hard to come by, and what is the need for 16+ doors?

Physically, perhaps. Spiritually, he's deader than a doornail.

The worst show I have been to in NY in years. A disaster.

I had nothing against anyone who played but when you bill something in a way to bring people in, you should deliver. I, like many, went to see the Strokes play, and didn't even see them cause I was in line for the bathroom when they went on for 5 min. If they hadn't been billed as the headliner, it wouldn't have mattered but when everyone is duped, it's just not cool.

They're playing. The new Fillmore/Irving Plaza site is listing the show as "Joey Ramone's Birthday Bash with the New York Dolls."
