Metallic Falcons = 1/2 CocoRosie, Matteah Baim + guests | Record Release show

Metallic Falcons Metallic Falcons release their debut album, Desert Doughnuts, via Voodoo-EROS on 6/6/6.

Metallic Falcons "are known as Sierra Casady (CocoRosie) and Matteah Baim (Voodoo-EROS). They are joined in this recording by friends Greg Rogrove (Tarantula A.D.), Antony (Antony & The Johnsons), Jana Hunter, and Devendra Banhart."

Metallic Falcons are celebrating the release of the new CD with a show at Tonic in NYC on June 7, 2006. Kid Congo, Nomi, and Bow Ribbons are also on the bill. Expect special guests.

Listen to two tracks here or on their MySpace (note the choice of putting "The Pumpsta" in their top eight). Pitchfork reviewed the track with Antony.
