NYC Bicycle Film Festival | Parties & stuff about bikes

The Bicycle Film Festival is "a celebration of bicycles through film, art and music". It runs May 10-14, 2006 in NYC. The opening night party is tonight (May 10, 10PM) at Union Pool in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 'Matt and Kim', Aa, and Home Video are all playing, and its free (donations accepted). AND there’s an after party every night following the screenings, as well as a Block Party on 2nd street and 2nd Avenue on Saturday from 1-7pm. All that info is below:

BIKEAGE
Bicycle Film festival in association w/ Tokion Magazine celebrates bike culture and the release party Peter Sutherlands new book Pedal. BIKEAGE is an over the top bike party hosted by Darryl-Dane Nau(Shit Hammered) and three of the deadliest Dj’s around. Black Label Bike Club’s own Dj Dirty Fingers, The one man army of Ted Shred and The Legendary Tommie Sunshine will be crankin’ out a mixed cluster of live mixes so be ready to tear up this sleazy decorated dance floor, watch projected bike videos, and throw back free Brahma beer from 9.30-10.30 There will be hundreds of Giveaways from Puma, Timbuk2 Messenger Bags, Smart water and cheap $3 dollar beer all night.
