I saw Of Montreal at Northsix last year-awesome live. Tons of energy those bastards have. Sam Beam also puts on a great live show. Go see BOTH.

How do you get tickets to the shows at McCarron Park Pool? Are they free (since someone from Clear Channel is involved I'm guess this is not the case)?

Just wait until next week...a big press release is being send out...JELLYNYC is doing a 10 week free series featuring really cool bands like Spankrock, Deerhoof, Of Montreal, The Walkmen, etc...and they are ALL FREE!!!!

Tix to Bloc Party are $35. Pshaw! I am NOT paying one red cent to see a concert in Greenpoint (my neighborhood) in the summer when nearly everyone is playing a free show somewhere else.
