Finally! I know 24 hours may not seem like a long time to some, but it was exhausting. I got my ticket and even got a shirt from clive davis, what a goof! can't wait for the show. peace

Oh, K, if they could only be as cool and hip as you - You have moved beyond Pearl Jam, right? It is not the 90s anymore, right? You spend your hard earned money on what Pitchfork tells you to buy, not some crummy rock band, right?
Wonder how cool you'll be looking waiting in line for CYHSY tix in 10 years? Oh, I know, you won't, because dime-a dozen indie derivative bands like those fade awaaaaaaay. Something to be said for staying power.

K is probably 17 years and 500 pounds, BUT she didn't say anything about CYHSY anon, so why use them as an example, and what's wrong with liking CYHSY and Pearl Jam?

Lou - fair point, I was just looking to make a contrast behing a "flavor of the month" band vs. a band with some staying power. Instead of CYHSY, insert your preferred "band of the moment" in there.
